At Pet Wants, training doesn't end when you open your doors. It grows with your business.
Recently, seasoned Pet Wants franchise owners returned to Cincinnati for something the brand had never done before: an in-person training built entirely around retail and grooming. Owners rolled up their sleeves alongside our training and coaching team to sharpen the skills that turn a neighborhood storefront into a thriving community pet hub.
But the Pet Wants model is designed to grow in stages. Most owners launch with a mobile phase first, delivering fresh food directly to customers' doors and building a loyal base in their community. When the time is right, they open a retail storefront, often adding services like grooming.
That second phase brings a new set of opportunities and challenges. Merchandising, store operations, staffing a grooming salon, and creating an in-store experience customers love are different skills. So we built a training designed specifically for that moment.
