# Pet Wants Sarasota Owner Featured as Local Pet Nutrition Expert on ABC7
- June 30 2026
When a Pet Wants franchisee gets invited onto local television to talk pet nutrition, it says something about the brand's growing recognition in the communities it serves.
Annaleah Prevatt, owner of Pet Wants Sarasota, recently joined [ABC7's Suncoast View](https://www.mysuncoast.com/2026/06/11/pet-food-freshness-quality-tips-local-expert/) to share her expertise on pet food freshness and quality. She walked viewers through why freshness matters for nutritional value, why dog chews offer stress-relief benefits beyond dental health, and how Pet Wants' standard of fresh — food that reaches a pet's bowl in weeks rather than months — sets the brand apart from big-box pet food.
For prospective franchisees evaluating the brand, moments like this are worth paying attention to. They show what's possible when you combine a differentiated product — natural ingredients, no fillers or by-products — with an owner who's genuinely invested in educating pet parents. That combination is what builds the kind of community trust that drives repeat business and referrals.
