When Robert Nilson moved from Los Angeles to Scottsdale, his dog’s skin took a turn for the worse. The lack of humidity made her dry, flaky, and itchy.
“When I switched her to Pet Wants food, it was a complete turnaround. She is also a picky eater and didn’t want her old food anymore,” Robert said. “That was enough for me to realize that this was something different and that Pet Wants could really make a difference for pet and pet families in this community.”
Robert built his career in sales and management, but he was ready to build something he could be passionate about. At the same time his mom, Susan Cooper – a partner in the business – was looking for a new investment opportunity.
