Local Couple Launches Pet Wants in the Frisco Region

Local couple Kim and Mike Caley are pleased to announce the launch of their new mobile pet food and supply business, Pet Wants Frisco. They are launching the mobile pet food and supplies company with the support of their four kids and their two dogs and two cats.

“We have wanted to own a business for years and we are thrilled to bring Pet Wants to Frisco. Pet Wants fulfills our personal focus of helping people and pets and the flexibility allows us to make the most of the time we have with our family while giving people the convenience of free delivery. Pet Wants is unique and we’re excited to share it with this community,” Kim said.

Kim and Mike have four kids – Austin and Grace, their teenage twins who live at home, and Justin and Tyler, both former Marines who have moved back to the DFW area after serving in the military. They also have four pets – their German Shepherd named Jessie, their Lab mix named Jack, a black cat named Jasmine and a tabby named Miss Kitty. Kim has been homemaker and Mike is a businessman. Kim, who is leading the business, is passionate about helping people and animals and had been looking for an opportunity to get back into the workforce that would still allow her to be active with their kids at home.

“We have had pets in our family since before we were married 20 years ago and they really all are part of our family. We understand how much it hurts when they hurt and what a blessing it is to give and receive their unconditional love. We’re excited that, with Pet Wants, we can give people an opportunity to find a fresh, high-quality and nutritionally-balanced food along with treats and Spaw products that can help each pet live their best life,” Kim said.

Pet Wants Frisco offers free delivery to homes throughout the area and the Caleys will have presence at the Frisco Fresh Market through the spring and summer will help them reach more pet families. They will be posting information about their weekend events on their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PetWantsFrisco/.

“Because dry pet food loses significant nutritional value every month after production, it is important to get it into your pet’s bowl as quickly as possible. Pet Wants has created a new monthly delivery model to deliver fresh and wholesome food within weeks of being produced in small batches that are slow-cooked at low temperatures to preserve nutritional value. Freshness is key to delivering maximum nutrition to your pet,” Mike said.
